Alone, near river's edge, I watch

Waves increase in strength and might.

Edging it way to wind-swept shore.

The foam-lit surf formed cloud-like visions.

Only here can I perceive John's bridge of contentment,

Where gala untold mysteries can be revealed to me.

How often has this story been told to me?

Sea, sky, wind, and rain on Patmos's shore

Housed "John the Revelator" who, pray fully, watched,

A raven fed John manna for his contentment,

That preserved his strength and secured his might.

Solitude, spirit, and sea gave John many visions.

Society exiles some, but seas give us visions.

Visions of hope, that bring peace and contentment,

And guidance for the trodden, that lead us to the shore.

Many verses, phrases, voice alienations to me.

I've lived in tidal waters, I know their furred might,

But there's a bridge of safety here where I watch!

There's a bridge of safety, here where I watch,

That excels the power of materialistic might,

Prepared invisible for aliens like me,

A bridge that for centuries rendered contentment

Where souls have been rekindled with real visions,

And man's poor judgment cannot corrupt the shore.

Angry waves lash, thrash, that soon will leave shore,

Waves with purer tides, that recur bountiful might,

Heaven arrays momentums of love to me.

Only now can I conceptualize John's visions,

His triumph over loneliness, as from here I watch,

And view the scale that balances unique contentment.

It's good I've found lasting contentment,

Time has made more visible a peaceful shore.

Without a doubt, no hurt can now consume me,

No matter the cruelty of its raging might.

I stand alone, but with surely I watch,

And implore more strength restoring my visions.

Contentment will prevail, from the shore where I have vision

Love is sharper than a two-edged sword's might,

And as I watch time has given the gift of love to me.
