Gregory Lee Camper, 43 of Wetipquin, Maryland, was called home to be with our Lord on 02/07/10. He was the son of the late Titus Gattis and Arnetta Camper. He received his education in the Wicomico County Public School System. He was a 1987 graduate of James M. Bennett High School.
Gregory was an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) where he served as a volunteer at the Westside an Hebron Fire Departments. Gregory was also employed with Dove Point and Somerset County and Peninsula Regional Medical Center as a licensed CNA. He later became employed as a food inspector with the Federal Government at USDA until his death.
Gregory was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in his early years. On 11/01/09, Gregory became a member of St. James Free Methodist Church. Gregory loved the Lord and enjoyed going to worship. Gregoery loved his famiy and attending famility functions. He was a people person. He enjyed meeting people and making new friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories with: one sone, Daquan Hird; four brothers, Reginald Camper, Rowna (Joy) Camper, Daniel James and Keith Gattis; one sister Gwyn Elsey; nine aunts, Marion Williams, Daisy White, Maggie Price, Bernice Anderson, Addie Wilbekin, Naomi Wilbekin, Ruth Carter, Josephine Waters and Isantha Gattis; three uncles, Leroy White, George Gattis, and Earl Waters; nephews, Alonzo and Christopher; nieces Katelyn, Janay, and Jenel; seven great nephews and neices; four Godsons, Allan, Phillip, Isaiah, Marquaniz; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. In adidition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by one brother, Tyrone Maxfield and one sister, Josephine Brown.
