Carroll Rusteen Leonard Camper, youngest son of the late William and Naomi Camper began his life on 06/15/36. He answered the call of the Devine Providence on 10/20/98 at home.
Carroll received his educatiob in the public schools of Wicomico County. After completion he served a tour of active dutry in the United States Airforce. Upon his discharge he was employed with the Curtis Publishing Company in Philadephia, Pennsylvania, Camper Trucking Company in Salisbury, Maryland and later Perdue Farms, Inc. working as a professional truck driver for 20 years until his retirement.
He participated in several different leadership capacities as a member of the VFW Post# 10159 of Salisbury, Maryland. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life which included: bowling, travelling, fishing, cooking, and let's nor forget "Taking Picture".
Being a compassionate, loving person, Carroll's greatest joy was making others happy. He beleived that a Christ-like person was doing unto others as you would have them to do unto you; and Carroll exemplified this character in his daily life.
Those chersihing his fond memories are two sisters, Alma Perry of Wetipquin, Maryland, Cynthia Fauntleroy of Silver Spring, Maryland; two brothers, William D. Camper, Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Clinton Camper of Quantico, Maryland; one daughter, Carol Lenise Camper of Salisbury, Maryland; tow grand sons and a special companion and friend Rosemary Martin of Seaford, Delaware.
