Kevin Edward Mitchell was born on 01/29/81. Kevin and his mother, Linda was called home to glory on 06/20/98, at 6:00 a.m. as a result of a car accident.

Kevin attend James M. Bennett High School and would have been a senior in the fall. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, DECA, and the Campus Club. He was an all-around sportsman. He played football, basketball, ran track, and was a wrestler. In addition, at Bennett Middle School he was a member of the school band.

Kevin was employed at Sears Department Store as a cashier. He was a member of Faith Christian Full Gospel Baptist Church where he was a youth speaker, sound technician, member of the brotherhood ministry, and attend Sunday School. Kevin grew up in Wetipquin, Maryland and gave his life to Christ at an early age at his family church, Friendship United Methodist Church. There he worked faithfully in the your department.

Kevin was a child of God, a peacemaker, a true gentleman, and was love by everyone who knew him. His quiet demeanor did not stop him from playing jokes onhis family and friends. Kevin has a strong spiritual bond with his mother and loved his father and brother deeply.

He leaves to mourn: his father, Calvin Johnson of Seaford, Delaware; one brothetr and sister-in-law Craig L. and Keisha L. Mitchell of Laurel, Maryland; a maternal grandmother, Pearline W. Mitchell of Wetipquin, Maryland;  paternal grandmother, Dorothy Johnson of Salisbury, Maryland; one nice Japria Monique Mitchell; several uncles, aunts, cousions, and a host of special friends.

A Tribute of Love to Linda and Kevin:

Our family circle has been broken

A link gone from our chain

But though we've parted for awhile

We know we'll meet gain.

Someday we hope to meet you both

Someday we know not when

But we shall meet in a better land

And never part again.
