Charles Emerson Robinson, the son of the late Levi and Merelia Stewart Robinson was born in Seaford, Delaware on 07/26/20. He was one of seven siblings born from this union. He peacefully departed this earthly life and entered life eternal on 01/22/09 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Wicomico County, Maryland; including the former Wetipquin Elementary and Salisbury High Schools where he participated in Baseball and Track.
Charles was formerly employed with the former: Campbell Soupd Company of Salisbury, Maryland, the former Coldwater Seafood and Bubby Boy Farms, both in Nanticoke, Maryland. He retired after 13 years of service with the Department of Motor Vechicle Administration in Salisbury, Maryland.
He accepted Christ at an early age and became a dedicated member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Wetipquin where he served as a member of the Fellowship Choir and former president and member of the Trustee Board. His civic involvement included membership with the Wetipquin Community Development Club.
As a young man he sang with a quartet and played guitar. He love his family and would take them out to Sunday rides and visit his mother and father-in-law, whom he loved. Charles was a dovoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He leaves to cherish loving memories with his wife of sixty-seven years: Isenia Robinson of Wetipquin, Marylandd; four children; Estella Robinson of Neptune, New Jersey; Audrey (Wallace) Showell of Salisbury, Maryland; two great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters; Corinda (John) Moore of Wetipquin, Maryland and Louise Nichols of Chester, Pennsylvania; a host o nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Four grandchildren, two sisters preceeded him in death.
