On December 29, 1972, Vendell Lee Dashiell was born to Charles Edward Dashiell, Sr. and Orjetta Dashiell, both of Wetipquin Maryland, a town he grew up in, loved and was loved. On August 28, 2021, the still voice of the Lord called him to rest from cardiac complications.
Vendell received his education in the Wicomico County public school system. During his adult life, he moved to the State of North Carolina where he was employed as a Catering Chef at ECI located in North Carolina. Vendell loved his children, cars, and especially his music. Vendell could build a sound system from scratch. He also loved to travel and explore new places.
His life and memories will be mourned, remembered and cherished by: eight children, Brianna Dashiell and Shaquille Dashiell, both of Salisbury, Maryland, She'Dazia Hickman and Satoria Jones, both of Georgia, Kamera Dashiell and Vendell Dashiell, Jr., both of Pennsylvania, Mariya Dashiell of North Carolina and A'breia Dashiell of Cambridge, Maryland; twelve (12) grandchildren; six brothers, Charles Dashiell, Jr., Nolan Dashiell, Granvel Dashiell, Orlando Dashiell and Jimmy Reid, all of Salisbury, Maryland and Armah Dashiell of Princess Anne, Maryland; one sister, Charlene Dashiell of Salisbury, Maryland and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his companion, Kim Motaal.
